Death's-head Hawkmoth Copper on Cable Chain

Handcrafted pendant features an etched death's-head hawkmoth; distinguished by the human skull like shape markings on the thorax. After etching the moth silhouette was hand-sawed out, elements (jump ring) along with a chain were added. Lastly the moth features were highlighted through patination (oxidation coloring); making that skull like details pop. Patina is sealed with a spray gloss finish to ensure long lasting color. Pendant comes on an oxidized 18" sterling silver link chain.
