Shop Policies
CUSTOM MADE TO ORDER ITEMS: Partial or full payment is required prior to starting any custom, personalized, otherwise made to order pieces. All are hand fabricated by me Lauren Anabela, sole-founder and owner of Creative Dexterity. Please allow 2-4 weeks for completion and additional time for your item to be delivered. Even if you choose expedited shipping please be aware that your order may still take weeks to complete but I will do my best to accommodate any urgent orders.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS: You have a twelve-hour time frame window after placing your order to cancel or void your order. Due to the majority of my jewelry being uniquely made to order, I fulfill orders promptly as they come in. I can’t stop or pause an order once it is already in place for creation.
RETURNS OR EXCHANGES: The following is for Creative Dexterity purchases made online through Creative Dexterity. Any purchases made through partnered retail shops and galleries that sell my work, please adhere to their store policies.
Returns are handled by a case to case basis but I strive for you to be satisfied with your purchase, so please contact me promptly after receiving your item if it arrived damaged or was otherwise not as described in the listing.* Do not return any items until I have been contacted. Response from me, Lauren/Creative Dexterity, is usually within 24hrs so we can decide how to proceed.
Creative Dexterity has a 14 Day Return Policy which starts on the delivery date; in other words returns must be shipped back to me within 14 business days of order received to process a return/exchange. Shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. Carrier and method of shipping is the customers choice but delivery confirmation/tracking is required so I can track the package and assure a proper replacement.
ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN: All items must be unworn or otherwise in the condition they were sent in as well as returned in the same type of material they were mailed in ( bubble wrapped and padded envelope with delivery confirmation).
Once I receive the returned item, I will immediately process your refund (minus original shipping charges).
RETURNED AFTER 15 DAY: All 15-30 day returns will be subjected to a 50% restocking fee, half refund or exchange rate.
NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN/EXCHANGE:
- After 30 days of order delivery date.
- "OOAK/One of a Kinds", "Made to Order" or "Custom Order" items are unique in nature - all sales are final.
- "Sale/Final Sale" listed items are final.
- Worn jewelry! I inspect each return. If there is noticeable mishapement, damage and otherwise not in the original created and shipped state is subjected to a 80% repair/restocking fee, 20% refund (not including original shipping fees).
- Uninsured and/or unregistered and unclaimed (International) Packages
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR JEWELRY: All pieces unless otherwise noted are made with .925 sterling silver, 14k gold and other copper based alloys. All through wear and environment exposure will tarnish. I've made a page dedicated to Cleaning and Caring Tips.
