Red, Blue, White and Black Fordite Cab Pendant

Fordite, also known as Detroit agate, may look like a unique beautiful stone but it is in fact various layers of old enamel automobile paint that has hardened. Once hardened it is cut and polished and repurposed as a cabochon! Fordite is one of a kind and I couldn’t help but want to repurpose it into jewelry.

This unique Fordite cab is embedded in a unique sterling silver setting with a distinctive yet special back piece. Pendant was oxidized to enhance texture then soft brushed for a matte finish. Comes on an 20” oxidized rolo cable chain and is packaged securely in a gift box.
